Mr. Steve Huang, founding president, developed chain drugstores in Tawian, such as Wei An Pharmacy, Wei Kao Pharmacy and Guo Rong Pharmacy.Established Wei An Pharmacy.

1974

Successfully transformed his business from drug distribution to medical products manufacturing and established R&R Medical Company Limited, focusing on research and development of gel pack products..

1975

Invented the first gel pack in Asia and became a well-known provider of home health care products.

1976

Founded Taiwan Stanch Company Limited, selling medical equipment and home health care products, as well as developing export markets.

1977

Appointed as the sole distributor in Asia for Laerdal, a well-known Norwegian company specializing in emergency medical equipment.

1977

Participated for the first time in international medical products exhibitions, promoting Taiwan’s medical products manufacturers’ international recognition.

1979

R&R Medical Company Limited. acquired licenses in manufacturing cosmetic and medical equipment, and successfully developed production lines.

1984

Established own brand “Laitest”, selling disposable hygienic products and sanitizing gels to hospitals, medical equipment companies and drugs stores.

1985

Further improved the quality of gel by inventing a single gel for both cold and hot use.

1989

Ms. Grace Wang succeeded Mr. Steve Huang as President.

1990

Established R&R, a new brand specializing in home health care products, and marketed it worldwide.

1991

For the second time improved the quality of gel by inventing conductive and lubricating gel.

1997

Taiwan Stanch Co. Ltd. joined Latin American Business Council.

1998

Taiwan Stanch Co. Ltd. joined Taiwan Medical and Biotech Industry Association.

1999

Taiwan Stanch Co. Ltd. obtained US FDA registration.

2001

Taiwan Stanch Co. Ltd. received ISO 9001/ ISO 13485 certifications for the quality management system.

2002

For the third time improved the quality of gel by extending its temperature retaining ability and applied this new technology to all cold/hot gel packs.

2003

Acquired quality medical equipment manufacturing plant GMP Certification.

2004

Invested in new industrial sewing production lines and started manufacturing health care products, such as protective wares and pouches for cold/hot gel packs

2005

Invested in Eyesonic Inc., its subsidiary company, which specializes in medical CCTV system.

2006

Invested in a silicone molding factory and started manufacturing silicone medical products.

Invested in a plastic injection molding factory and started manufacturing plastic medical auxiliary products.
